CLASS 4-5
1.
Draw a picture about your favorite book and write a
few sentences explaining why you like it.
2.
Make a colorful bookmark using paper and markers.
3.
Read a book aloud to a family member or friend and
tell them what it’s about.
Class 6-8
1.
Pick a topic you’re interested in (like animals or
space) and find a book about it at the library or online. Draw a picture or
write a short summary about what you learned.
2.
Write down the titles of five different types of
books you find in the library or online (like adventure or mystery) and
describe what each one is about.
3.
Make a list of your top five favorite books and why
you recommend them to others.
Class 9-10:
1.
Choose a book you recently read and write a
paragraph about the main characters and what happens in the story.
2.
Try reading a book from a genre you haven’t
explored much before (like science fiction or adventure) and write a short
paragraph about what you thought of it.
3.
Create a fun scavenger hunt for your family or
friends to do at home. Write down clues for them to find different books.
Class 11-12:
1.
Pick a book you read in class and write a few
paragraphs about what you liked or didn’t like about it.
2.
Find a book at the library or home about a topic
you’re curious about and write a short summary of what you learned.
3.
Spend some time volunteering at the nearby library
over the holidays. You could help organize books, set up displays, or
assist people who come in looking for books.
